How often should I use tatfat?
Tatfat is a cream, so unlike a balm, serum or wax, it can be applied as often as you feel you need. The natural ingredients that contain rich nutrients, vitamins and amazing properties will start to work as soon as it is applied
How soon after I've had my tattoo done can I start using tatfat?
Start using Tatfat as soon as you remove any dressing applied by the artist, then continue to apply regularly. The ingredients have natural properties that help to protect and heal your design, but you should still ensure it is kept clean and free from any other products that may irritate the skin.
Can tatfat fade my tattoo?
Not at all, pigment in tattoos is deposited deep in the skin, far deeper than the ingredients can penetrate
What if I put the cream on skin that doesn't have the tattoo?
Tatfat's ingredients are so pure and natural, the cream can be used on any part of the body, we even use it on the face!
Is it possible to over cream a tattoo?
You should only use a small amount at first on fresh tattoos, as they shouldn't have any residue left on the surface, just make sure all has been absorbed before applying more.
Should I use petrolium jelly on my tattoo?
Petroleum jelly is not recommended for tattoos, as it doesn't allow the skin to breathe and heal as it should. Petroleum jelly is not a natural product and is formed from a mixture of mineral oils (not plant based) and waxes (originally produced in 1859 for oil workers!). It was used to seal their damaged skin and form a water-protective barrier and therefore does not hydrate the skin. It was never designed for the healing of tattoos, as it doesn't allow the skin to dry naturally, and can harbour bacteria or fungi.
Why is Tatfat better than other products on the market?
It all depends on whether the product was actually designed for tattoos or not. General products on the market might seem ok, but is ok enough?
